Ontario’s first presumptive confirmed case of the coronavirus is stable and remains hospitalized. Public Health Officials have now reported as second case of the coronavirus in Toronto. Dr. David Williams the Chief Medical Officer of Health has said that “the risk to Ontarians remains low”. Ontario’s health system today is in a position to respond to the coronavirus and have mechanisms in place for responding to emerging health care situations. Healthcare workers should follow the recommendations as put in place by their healthcare agency. COPE is closely following all developments regarding (COV).
